Five fantastic venues will welcome the Extreme Sailing Series Europe this season, the fourth consecutive year the circuit has dazzled spectators across Europe, with more days racing than ever before.
The 2010 Extreme Sailing season will visit five European venues: Sète (France), Cowes (UK), Kiel (Germany), Trapani (Italy) and Almeria (Spain). Cowes is hosting the second stop in the 2010 season and are looking forward to host the world’s best skippers during the first week of August.
Each regatta takes place over four days with as many as 18 fast and furious races. These are lasting for around 20 minutes. Extreme Sailing gives the spectator the opportunity to be as close to the happenings as possible.
If you love the wind and the sea and have an interest in this sport, this assignment is for you. We are sending a writer down south to spend some time with the athletes and experience the Extreme Sailing Series live on site.
